Public sector strikes: 30 November day of action mapped

On Wednesday public sector workers across the UK will go on strike against government reforms to their pensions. While we follow the action in our live blog we also want to map where and when walkouts, picket lines, marchs and occupations are taking place - plotting images and reports of strike action to the map as it happens. Help us map the day of action. This week we also asked Guardian users if they would be taking part in strike action and why - the result was a lively debate about the issues behind the strikes. Earlier this week we reported: According to the TUC, the trade union organisation orchestrating the strikes, 2.6m people have been balloted for strike action across four sectors – health, education, civil service and local government – with about 750,000 voting yes. We hope to create a comprehensive collaborative map of the strikes across the UK – showing images of what's happening, reports and comments from users about the strikes.
