The Cardturner by Louis Sachar - review

I have to give my honest review on things, and unfortunately this review isn't good! I don't think Louis Sachar has shown his best work in this novel. The plot is all about the card game bridge. At first I thought it was quite interesting, but then I realised all Sachar was doing was teaching the reader about bridge and not making things very interesting. It says the book is for 12yrs+, and im almost 12 but I dont think it would interest many teenagers if it just teaches you how to play bridge (which is also a very confusing game).
