Princess Productions hires Duncan Gray

Duncan Gray, Sky's head of entertainment commissioning, is to join Something for the Weekend producer Princess Productions as creative director. Gray will join the independent producer in early 2012, reporting to Princess chief executive and founder, Henrietta Conrad. He will work alongside Kelly Webb-Lamb, who has been promoted to director of factual programmes. Gray joins Princess with a brief to build up the company's entertainment and comedy output. He joined Sky in 2009. He is a former ITV controller of entertainment, where he oversaw programmes including Dancing on Ice, The X Factor and Britain's Got Talent. Before his two years at ITV, Gray worked in Los Angeles as head of alternative series and specials for US broadcaster ABC.
