Emmanuel Adebayor may leave Manchester City for Real Madrid

Real Madrid have admitted that they are looking to sign a striker on loan for the rest of the season, suggesting that Emmanuel Adebayor could be about to be offered a way out of Manchester City. Adebayor is on Real's shortlist and the club's director general, Jorge Valdano, said: "We are looking for a centre-forward who is prepared to lend us a hand for six months.
