The Hives – Lex Hives: album stream

Lex Hives is the Swedish band's fifth album, and marks a diversion into the world of tender, string-drenched ballads. We jest, of course, for there is only one kind of album the Hives know how to make – cartoon, garage rock with every dial pushed up one more notch than you would find on conventional amplifiers. It's been five years in the making, partly because the band chose to release it themselves and partly because they've been touring relentlessly since 2007's The Black and White Album.
