Arsenal's Jack Wilshere bailed over taxi driver incident

Jack Wilshere has been bailed until next month following an incident before Christmas. The Arsenal midfielder was part of a group of friends that allegedly had a verbal altercation with a taxi driver in Paddington, west London. The 19-year-old was arrested in the early hours of 19 December after the driver, who is thought to be in his 60s, had told the group that he was off-duty. The driver went to a police station to report the incident and claimed he had been verbally abused.
