The billion-dollar question: what should Apple spend its cash on?

Today Apple will reveal what it plans to do with its $100bn cash reserves . Following its latest iPad offering last week and fans worldwide queuing up for it, things couldn't get better for one of the world's most profitable companies. Tim Cook, CEO, and Peter Oppenheimer, CFO, will reveal their decision in a conference call at 9am EDT, 1pm UK time. Rumours abound that Apple plans to pay dividends, rewarding shareholders, or even to make a large company acquisition. The last time they paid dividends was in 1995. But one writer, Matthew Panzarino, speculated on The Next Web blog that the giant might "acquire" Twitter. We want to know what you think Apple should spend its cash on. Should it reward shareholders, buy back some of its own shares, as previously mentioned, or acquire a technology company? Or something completely different? • Follow Comment is free on Twitter @commentisfree
