The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time by Mark Haddon - review

I really enjoyed this book because it helps you to see things from a different point of view. I found that Mark Haddon has a great way of developing his characters. For example: Christopher has a pet rat and he cares for him, feeds and plays with him like he is part of the family. This helped develop his character really well. This book is very interesting and has quite a few cases of bad laguage - but the story is so amazing that I can look past all that and get on with it. I recommend this book for older kids from 11-12 because of the bad laguage. Older kids will be better able to understand the words' meanings and that sadly people can say things like this. It can happen in real life not just in the world of books.
