Virgin Media's touch phone ended with verdict against me

I took out a touch phone from Virgin Media on a two-week trial. I have arthritis and found I couldn't use it. But before I could send it back my wife was taken seriously ill and I was a few days late in returning it. Virgin said I had gone over my trial period so I am now locked into a two-year £12 monthly tariff. We're both 84 and can't afford it. EW, Nottingham Virgin Media sympathised with you and quickly waived its rules. It is sending a jiffy bag to get the handset picked up, has cancelled your contract and is refunding any payments already made.
