Divided City by Theresa Breslin - review

A developing friendship between two boys, takes you to the boundaries of sectarianism. Schoolboys Graham (Protestant) and Joe (Catholic) are both Glaswegian football lovers. As their friendship matures, so does the story - and there is much more to the story than just football. This book has a few frightening moments, so only read it if you have with you, a pillow to hide behind. An awesome read for all those brave-hearted 10 - 14 year olds, this book is amazing. Once you start to read it, it drags you in, like dust into a vacuum cleaner. Want to tell the world about a book you've read? Join the site and send us your review!
