Rescuers search for survivors in Turkish earthquake rubble

Rescue teams are continuing their search after an earthquake struck in eastern Turkey last night. At least seven people died in the city of Van and dozens more are thought to be trapped under rubble. The 5.6-magnitude earthquake caused 25 buildings to collapse, including a six-storey hotel where journalists and relief workers were staying. Some news and aid agencies have reported their staff as missing. Workers have so far pulled at least 23 people alive from the rubble, according to the Anatolian news agency. The disaster follows last month's quake which killed 600 people.
