Arsène Wenger: Cesc Fábregas future set to be resolved 'very quickly'
The Arsenal manager, Arsène Wenger, said he now expects Cesc Fábregas's future to be resolved "very quickly". Speaking on the club's website on Thursday afternoon, the Arsenal manager said: "We hope it will be sorted out very quickly one way or the other. We'll know very quickly." The Spanish midfielder is moving closer to securing a move to Barcelona, with reports in the past 24 hours suggesting that Fábregas's situation would be determined by the start of the Premier League season this weekend. Wenger said he also wanted a swift resolution to the question of Samir Nasri's future. Manchester City are increasingly confident of signing the France international. "The Nasri situation is stable," said Wenger. "Again it is very difficult to speak about possible transfers but we are in a situation where we have to make decisions one way or the other. Ideally you want it to be sorted out before the season starts."
