Manchester international festival: Waiting for That Day We Sang
The curtain is about to rise on national treasure Victoria Wood's That Day We Sang, a ray of sunshine in what has been a somewhat rainy day in Manchester. It's not only the audience that's looking forward to the performance - some young members of the choir have popped up in the comments section of the Mif website expressing how they can't wait to take to the stage. Here's a video of Wood herself talking about the show. And here's a taste of what people been saying on Twitter today - from excitement about upcoming shows, to verdicts and, er, knitting... Don't forget you can chat to us about Manchester international festival via @guardianculture using either #mif or #mif11, or via our Guardian Facebook page .
