Bank Job foiled by Pop Star

Channel 4's gameshow The Bank Job , hosted by George Lamb, finished its second run with just over 1 million viewers, failing to match the interest of its first series. The Bank Job, which will return for a brace of celebrity specials at the end of the week, had 1.2 million viewers (5.5%) between 9pm and 10.30pm on Saturday. It was down on the 1.5 million viewers who watched the final of the first series on 7 January . The Bank Job lost out to BBC2 documentary I'm a Pop Star!, which had 1.6 million viewers, a 7.2% share, between 9pm and 10pm. Channel 5's CSI repeat was watched by 1 million viewers, a 4.4% share, between 9.15pm and 10.15pm. Burp relief Harry Hill's TV Burp, which is nearing the end of what is expected to be its last ever series on ITV1, had 4.7 million viewers, a 22.2% share, between 7.30pm and 8pm. It was edged out by BBC1's Let's Dance for Sport Relief, which had 5.1 million viewers, a 23.5% share, between 7.10pm and 8.30pm. The celebrity dance show also got the better of ITV1's dating show, Take Me Out, watched by 4.6 million viewers (20.4%) between 8pm and 9pm. Later, ITV1's The Jonathan Ross Show, with 3 million viewers (13.5%) between 9pm and 10pm, was beaten by BBC1's ever-present Casualty, which pulled in 5.2 million viewers (24%) between 9.20pm and 10.10pm. All ratings are Barb overnight figures, including live, +1 (except for BBC and some other channels including Sky1) and same day timeshifted (recorded) viewing, but excluding on demand, or other – unless otherwise stated.
