As suggested in today's Observer , my principal thought about the Guineas for betting purposes is that events – principally Camelot's win the 2,000 Guineas, and Frankie Dettori's booking for Lyric Of Light have conspired to make Discourse (3.15) a bigger price than she should be, and there is even some 11-1 available in a place this morning. Maybe, on the other hand, is attracting money steadily, and is now top-price at 6-4 with the possibility of further shrinkage to come as punters seek to climb aboard the Aidan O'Brien bandwagon.
