Lee Clark in the frame for managerial vacancy at Birmingham City
Lee Clark is under consideration for the managerial vacancy at Birmingham City as he seeks a return to the game four months after being sacked by Huddersfield Town. The 39-year-old was dismissed by Huddersfield in February despite having presided over a club record 43-game unbeaten run and being four points off automatic promotion to the Championship, a feat subsequently achieved by his replacement, Simon Grayson, through the play-offs. Grayson has been linked with Birmingham following the departure of Chris Hughton to Norwich City last week but his agent, Hayden Evans, has denied an approach. It is understood Clark is of interest to Birmingham, however, as they consider potential replacements for Hughton.
