Blood Red by Road by Moira Young - review

Blood Red Road is a great book set in the future. There isn't much left in the world because The Wreckers, (Who are meant to be us), have used up everything. Saba, an eighteen year old girl, has met no one in her life apart from her twin brother, her little sister, her dad and mum, though her mum died giving birth to her little sister. One day, some tough-looking men on horseback, murder her father and kidnap her beloved twin brother. Saba is soon thrust into a thrillingly terrifying journey in search of her brother. This book is great because it is told from Saba's point of view and she speaks in strange old fashioned language. The next book in the trilogy, Rebel Heart, has just come out though I haven't yet read it. If you're looking for a gripping book to stick your nose in then I recommend Blood Red Road. I'd say the age group is from 10+.
