DVD review: Me and Orson Welles
I've seen impressive portrayals of Welles before, but nothing like the unknown Christian McKay, who looks and sounds like the great man, and exhibits the charisma and ego to boot. Richard Linklater's enjoyable coming-of-age tale concentrates, like Cradle Will Rock, on the pioneering theatrical whizzkid, in this case putting on a modern-dress Caesar. The "Me" of the title is Zac Efron as an aspiring actor getting a first theatrical job.
