Stormbreaker by Anthony Horowitz - review

14-year-old Alex Rider never wanted to be a spy. He was forcibly recruited into MI6. He was then taken to an SAS camp in the mountains to be trained as a super-spy. His first mission takes him to Port Tallon in Cornwall where he investigates a man called Herod Sayle who made the Stormbreaker computer. I liked this book because it is action packed. Also Alex gets to use lots of cool gadgets such as a computer, bomb and radio all hidden in a Gameboy. There is also cream that burns through metal and a yo-yo that can be launched for climbing. I would recommend this book to boys aged 9-12 who love action books. If you like these books you can read the rest in the series such as Point Blanc, Skeleton Key, Eagle Strike, Scorpia, Ark Angel, Snakehead, Crocodile Tears and Scorpia Rising. There is also a film of Stormbreaker. Ashton Want to tell the world about a book you've read? Join the site and send us your review!
