New music: Dan le Sac featuring Sarah Williams White – Play Along

According to a press release, producer Dan le Sac is "a lot more than simply the bloke behind the bloke with the big beard", but for now you'll probably know him as the non-beardy one from hip-hop duo Dan le Sac Vs Scroobius Pip. Having released two albums together, the pair are having a break: Scroobius Pip released his solo LP last September, with Stephens due to release his album Space Between the Words in July. Featuring Emmy the Great, Merz and former Pete and the Pirates frontman Pete Hefferan, alongside a host of emerging talent, the album touches on rap, psychedelia and electro-pop. For the first single, Play Along – premiered here exclusively – newcomer Sarah Williams White's adds her smokey laidback vocals to a skittering, retro yet futuristic-sounding beat that sounds better now the sun is out. • Space Between the Words is released on 9 July via Sunday Best.
