Theodore Boone: The Accused by John Grisham - review
Theo's mum is a divorce lawyer, and always represents the wife. Theo knows all the legal people in town – judges, police, lawyers... On Monday morning he discovers that his school locker has been broken into and some of his belongings have been taken. But worse is to come: Theo is accused of stealing computer software, some of which is found in his locker. To clear his name he must find the real thief. I loved this book because you had no idea how it was going to end. It was well written and controlled, but full of adventure and I couldn't put it down. And because I want to be a lawyer and this book gave me an insight into what it might be like. When I'd finished I immediately downloaded the next book in the series.
