MGEITF Channel of the Year Awards voting begins

Voting has opened for the Channel of the Year Awards at the 2011 MediaGuardian Edinburgh International Television Festival . Showreels for potential nominees are available on the MGEITF website and people can vote by completing an online survey designed by research firm GfK Media. Categories include: terrestrial channel of the year; digital channel of the year; terrestrial programme of the year; and the network and fast-track programme choice award. There are also three new categories this year: cross-platform innovation; producer or director debut; indie of the year.
