Marina and the Diamonds – Electra Heart: Exclusive album preview

When Marina Diamandis declared her debut album a "failure" last year it was less an admission of defeat and more a sign of her ambition. Second album Electra Heart seems to juggle variously with being a concept album, a heartbreak record and a headfirst dive into a world of big pop songs. Alexis Petridis gave it a three-star review , praising the pop songwriting but worrying that sometimes the whole pudding became somewhat over-egged. Do you agree?
