Preston North End to appoint Graham Westley of Stevenage as manager

Preston North End have confirmed that they are have agreed a compensation package for Graham Westley to be appointed as their new manager. The Stevenage manager is expected to be joined at Deepdale by his assistants. The League One club sacked Phil Brown and his assistant, Brian Horton, last month . A club statement said: "Preston North End FC can confirm they have come to an agreement with Stevenage FC on a compensation package for manager Graham Westley and his assistants John Dreyer and Dino Maamria. "Preston North End will now aim to concluded discussions with the management trio later on today [Friday]. An announcement will be made once a conclusion is reached."
