Francis Ford Coppola to bring horror film Twixt to Comic-Con
Francis Ford Coppola is to make his first return to Comic-Con in nearly 20 years, bringing footage from upcoming horror film Twixt to San Diego. Coppola, making a return to his horror roots after a slightly underwhelming spell in the arthouse, describes the film as "one part gothic romance, one part personal film, and one part the kind of horror film that began my career". Shot at Coppola's estate in Napa County, and scored by the musician Dan Deacon, the 3D film stars Val Kilmer, Bruce Dern, Elle Fanning and Ben Chaplin as Edgar Allan Poe.
