In case you missed it ... Guardian and Observer long reads of the week

We publish a lot of stories here on guardian.co.uk. On an average day, around 400 stories are launched by our editorial team and sometimes you might miss some of the best ones if you don't check the site regularly. So, for the last year, we've been running an experiment using data from Guardian Zeitgeist to find the long stories which our users are spending the most time reading - and then using the Guardian Open Platform to republish these stories on a site called thelonggoodread.com . We have even experimented with turning these stories into a newspaper .
