The Guardian and Observer Kindle edition now features weather forecasts and cartoons

When we asked subscribers to the Guardian and Observer Kindle edition how to improve it, the most frequent suggestions were to include weather forecasts and cartoons. We're happy to say they're now in each edition. The Kindle edition contains all sections of the Guardian and the Observer newspapers, including magazines and supplements, and is accessible either on Kindle devices or through Kindle apps for the iPhone, iPad or Android phones and tablets. The weather forecast, as in the print edition, has daily regional outlooks and a five-day forecast for the UK, plus international summaries. Among the cartoons you'll find Steve Bell and Martin Rowson on the comment pages, Steve Bell's If ... in G2 and Modern Toss in the Guide. You can sign up for a 14-day free trial here , after which a subscription costs £9.99 a month in the UK. If you would like to comment on the edition at any time, email [email protected]
