Girls live recap: season one, episode six

Last night's episode of Girls broke new ground. For the first time, Lena Dunham's HBO show traveled outside NYC, focused on a single plot line and featured a penis. Refreshing, considering up to now the nudity on the show has been strictly female and ever episode has been spliced to include Marni, Jessa, Shoshanna and Hannah. The full dose of Hannah was a much needed as unanswered questions about her character were beginning to pile up. Though we still didn't see Hannah actually write any of her so-called "book", we did see signs that she's actually distressed about her lack of progress. We also saw Hannah struggle with her finances, an issue critics brought up last week when Hannah quite her job with such non-chalance. But did Hannah actually learn anything from her trip home to Michigan? Or is everything she does still "for the story"?
