Six Little Chicks by Jez Alborough - review
This book looks like a classic style picture book. It's rhyming and is about a mother hen protecting her chicks from the big bad fox. Not a really scary story, however, it is about a fox wanting to eat the chickens. The chicks do get the better of it in the end. Mya loves copying the chicks, for example 'The first little chick going peck, peck, peck.' It's a good book to read together. There is lots to look at and fun as the chicks aren't as much of a push over that the fox thought they would be! If you would like to become a family reviewer, email us at [email protected]
