Charming fop or dangerous incompetent? Whatever your impression of London mayor Boris Johnson, this picture is likely to get you thinking. Johnson was invited as a "special guest" to Victoria Park in east London to ride the zip wire but catastrophe struck when, 20 metres from the end of the line – the mayor ground to a halt. He was left dangling above the crowds for a good five minutes, leaving them more than enough time to grab photos of the mayor's latest gaffe.
