Bulgarian newspaper bombed

A bomb exploded outside the headquarters of the Bulgarian weekly newspaper Galeria early today. The newspaper has carried reports critical of the Bulgarian government with allegations of corruption among high-ranking officials. Last month, it published transcripts of taped phone conversations between senior government officials and the chief of the country's customs office about protecting certain companies from tax investigations.
