Manchester City to write to Notts County over 'sexism'

Manchester City will press ahead with their plan to submit a formal complaint to Notts County over alleged sexual discrimination at the weekend FA Cup tie between the pair by writing to the League One club over the next 24 hours. City claim their director of communications, Vicky Kloss, was ejected from the players' tunnel area at County's Meadow Lane despite holding access-all-areas accreditation. City will allege that the actions were taken against Kloss because she is female, with another member of the communications team, Simon Heggie, allowed in the tunnel unchallenged. A City spokesman confirmed today that a letter would be sent to County forthwith, asking for clarification and observations over the treatment of Kloss. Notts County deny sexism, saying that she did not have the right accreditation.
