£40m telecoms framework for East Sussex council
East Sussex county council is seeking a supplier for managed telecommunications and associated software services in a contract valued between £2m and £40m. The deal is intended to deliver IP telephony, gateway interconnectivity to legacy telecommunications systems, and associated public switched network and mobile telephony services. The contract will also cover billing and management information services, voice messaging, contact centres, unified communications, email, calendaring and content collaboration services. The framework contract will be available to a range of public sector organisations in East Sussex, Brighton and Hove, West Sussex and the immediate proximity over four years, according to a notice in the Official Journal of the European Union.
