Look of the week Keeping up with Ms Lohan’s police record is nigh on impossible, but happily her wardrobe is easier to keep tabs on. Normally she rigorously works the Maid Marian-meets-Playboy look to exhaustion but last week’s courtroom look provided a happy wardrobe departure. Her navy polka dot dress, the peroxide ’do and the lipstick-red Chanel bag conferred a Lynchian Mulholland Drive feel to the proceedings, while the Monroe sunglasses finessed the look. The slice of gold heel (never rubber!) says discreetly stylish rather than daytime TV fan. There are some really fancy versions kicking around the high street but the Zara version is the perfect price for a fashion shoe that is, to be frank, rubbish in the rain.
